Wolves team news: Injury boost ahead of Man United clash, Nuno ready to make statement

Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to face off against Manchester United in a FA Cup third round replay at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

The first leg at Molineux ended in a goalless draw, with the hosts unable to score the goal to send them through to the next round.

United may have home advantage for this match but Wolves will go into the game knowing that they are capable of defeating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.

Wolves have not tasted defeat against United during the previous five games in all competitions played between the two teams.

Nuno’s side have won two of those games whilst the other three were draws.

Wolves are expected to have all of their stars available for the game, according to Squawka.

It is expected that the Molineux side will field a near full strength team as will United.

Wolves do however have a potentially testing Premier League game against Southampton coming up during the weekend so they may have to withdraw a few key players during the game depending on how it goes.

The recent games between the two teams have been closely fought and that should again be the case on Wednesday.

We can expect an intense game. Both sides will be looking to add some silverware to their cabinet this season and should go all-out to win the game.

United will be the favourites due to their home advantage but the Red Devils have been sluggish this season so Wolves are very much capable of pulling off a victory if they take advantage of errors committed by Solskjaer’s side.
