According to AS, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid.
It has been reported that Premier League outfit Wolves have called La Liga club Atletico to ask about the transfer of Correa.
Interestingly, Atletico seem open to the idea of selling the 24-year-old Argentina international, who can operate as a forward or as a winger.
According to Sky Sports, the Spanish outfit offered Tottenham the chance to sign Correa as part of a deal to secure the services of England international defender Kieran Trippier, which they eventually did.
Correa has been on the books of Atletico since 2014 when he joined from San Lorenzo.
According to WhoScored, the attacker made 20 starts and 16 substitute appearances in La Liga for Atletico last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the process.
The 24-year-old also made three starts and five substitute appearances in the Champions League for Atleti during the 2018-19 campaign, according to WhoScored.
During the 2017-18 campaign, the Argentine made 27 starts and 10 substitute appearances in La Liga for Atletico, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
