Wayne Rooney could be set for a shock summer move from Manchester United to West Ham United, according to Sky Sports.
The England striker has found himself out of the picture at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho took charge this season, starting just nine league matches.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has established himself as the first choice up front, whilst the recent form of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata in behind the Swede has more often than not left Rooney settling for a place on the bench.
The 31-year-old became the club’s all-time leading goalscorer when he struck a late free-kick against Stoke City in January, but is expected to depart in the coming transfer window, bringing to an end a 13-year stay in Manchester.
West Ham could be in the running if he does become available and it would certainly be a statement if they were to tempt the former Everton man to the London Stadium.
The Hammers have struggled this term and are set for a lower mid-table finish in the Premier League, so whether they could attract a player of Rooney’s standing is debatable.
They face a trip to Hull City after the international break on a run of three straight losses and know that another defeat could leave them looking nervously over their shoulder in the final two months of the campaign.
