West Ham United will take on Cardiff City at the London Stadium, however, Manuel Pellegrini could be without two men for the fixture, according to the club’s official website.
Aaron Cresswell is considered a doubt for the game after he was forced off at the weekend during the Hammers’ 2-0 win against Newcastle United.
The left-back picked up a hamstring injury and Pellegrini confirmed that he would need to be assessed ahead of the clash with the Bluebirds.
Cresswell had started to find some good form after coming back into the first-team picture at West Ham, having found life difficult under the Chilean manager in the early days of his reign.
Should he not be fit for the match against their Welsh counterparts, Arthur Masuaku could make a return to the side and fill in on the left-hand side of the defence.
The problems continue to grow for West Ham in the back row, as Fabian Balbuena is also considered a doubt for the game on Tuesday night.
The Paraguay international managed to get through the 90 minutes at St. James’ Park on Saturday, however, Pellegrini confirmed that he had picked up a slight knock in the game.
The defender has formed a formidable partnership alongside Issa Diop at the back for the Irons this season following his arrival in the summer.
