West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini could have key man Marko Arnautovic to call upon on Tuesday evening, when they head up the M6 to take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux, according to their official website.
Both sides go into the match in the top half of the Premier League table, and a win for the Hammers would have them eyeing up European qualification, and will allow them to immediately forget their FA Cup exit at the hands of League One outfit AFC Wimbledon on Saturday night.
West Ham have been progressively improving this term, which made that defeat to the Wombles all the more surprising, but having chosen to rest a number of players for that contest, the Chilean boss is set to name a full strength side at Molineux.
The likes of Samir Nasri, Declan Rice, Pablo Zabaleta and Aaron Cresswell sat out the fourth round defeat at Kingsmeadow on Saturday, and the quartet are expected to be involved for the Hammers on Tuesday.
Felipe Anderson was only used from the bench for West Ham in that match, and he is another who is likely to be restored to the starting line up against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Pellegrini has received a boost ahead of the contest, with news that Marko Arnautovic has shelved any thoughts of leaving for the Chinese riches, and has committed himself to the London Stadium outfit.
Not only has the Austrian come out and quashed those rumours, but he has recovered from the issue that has seen him miss the last two matches for the Hammers, and goes into the squad to take on Wolves.
A win for West Ham could take them up to seventh in the Premier League table, depending on results elsewhere, which is the highest they could possibly hope for at this stage, so their incentive for winning is clear.
