West Ham United could make a summer move to sign Manchester City right-back Bacary Sagna on a free transfer, according to The Mirror.
The French defender is out of contract with the Etihad Stadium side at the end of the current campaign, with Pep Guardiola expected to shake up his squad and show the veteran the door.
West Ham have had issues at right-back this season, with no proven option for Slaven Bilic to select in the position.
Michail Antonio has played at full-back but is more effective further forward, Sam Byram is still adapting to Premier League life while Alvaro Arbeloa has consistently been injured this term.
Cheikhou Kouyate did well in the role in the 3-1 win over Southampton last weekend, but even the Senegalese midfielder is now carrying a knock.
Sagna could well be an option on a free transfer in the summer, but one way or another it appears that Bilic needs to strengthen in the position before next season.
