West Bromwich Albion will a make a new and improved offer for Southampton attacker Jay Rodriguez in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
The Baggies are light on firepower currently with Salomon Rondon carrying the can in attack for the The Hawthorns outfit but devoid of much support or back-up.

Rodriguez has starred in Southampton’s rise to become a major Premier League side but has suffered cruel injury woes over recent seasons.
The 27-year-old is back available for the Saints but has found a first-team berth hard to come by under Claude Puel, with the likes of Charlie Austin, Nathan Redmond and Shane Long ahead of him in the pecking order.
West Brom are believed to have made an enquiry over Rodriguez’s availability in the summer and Tony Pulis is seemingly set for another raid in the new year.
The former Burnley attacker has started only one Premier League game this season and featured from the bench five times, scoring once in the process.
The Sun also state that Hull City are interested in Rodriguez and will also make an offer for him come January.
