Four Premier League clubs are in the running to sign free agent Martin Caceres according to The Mirror, with West Brom, Sunderland, Southampton and Swansea all in the running to land the Uruguayan defender.
The 29-year-old can boast Barcelona, Sevilla and Juventus among his former clubs, with the South American leaving the Turin giants after his contract expired earlier this summer.
Caceres is yet to find a new employer but the latest report suggests that the Montevideo-born star could well be heading to the Premier League soon.

A 68-cap veteran for Uruguay, the versatile defender is comfortable as either a centre-half or right-back and would add strength in depth to his new employers.
West Brom are believed to be leading the charge for Caceres’ signature, with rumblings that Tony Pulis is far from happy with the transfer business the Baggies undertook this summer.
However, Swansea are also in the mix to land the 29-year-old, with Francesco Guidolin’s men surely welcoming an extra defender after selling Ashley Williams to Premier League rivals Everton earlier this summer.
