West Bromwich Albion are ready to make a shrewd January move to sign Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph, according to The Mirror.
The England international has had a torrid time since swapping Aston Villa for the Etihad Stadium and has been on the sidelines for the last couple of months through injury.
However, with Yaya Toure back in Pep Guardiola’s preferences and the array of talent at City, Delph faces a tough task in winning a berth in the starting XI when he is fit.
Baggies manager Tony Pulis is reportedly a fan of the former Leeds United midfielder and is ready to offer the star a chance to revive his career at The Hawthorns.
It remains to be seen whether West Brom would move for Delph in a permanent switch or opt to take the Englishman on loan for the rest of the campaign.
The former Villa man is another homegrown star that has been signed by City and struggled to make an impact due to the quality of the players around them.
