Tony Pulis is fighting for his job at West Bromwich Albion after a disappointing run of results, which has led to the club’s supporters calling for him to go, according to a report in The Telegraph.

The newspaper claims that the manager’s position has become precarious in recent weeks and could become the next Premier League boss to lose their job.

The axe in England’s top-flight has already been wielded a number of times, with Frank de Boer, Craig Shakespeare, Ronald Koeman and Slaven Bilic already being shown the exit at their respective clubs.

The Baggies will host Champions Chelsea after the international break at the Hawthorns and should a poor result be the outcome, then it could prove to be the final nail in the coffin for Pulis, although, there is no concrete news that anything that drastic could happen.

News has started to be reported that Chinese owner Guochuan Lai has decided to fly to the United Kingdom to watch the Baggies against the Stamford Bridge outfit and to possibly make a decision on the manager of his club.

In contrast, Pulis led Albion to a tenth place finish in the Premier League last season, which is their highest ever finish, with fans hoping he can guide them into Europe, however, that appears to be far from reality at the moment.

The Welshman has guided his team to just two victories in their last 20 league matches, which has led to fans to start to call for his head to be on the chopping block.

Supporters have taken to social media to vent their frustrations with the manager and his style of play, stating that they were not happy with the football being played by their side.
