West Brom have made an offer of €18 million (£15.3 million) for Keita Balde Diao but this has been rejected by Serie A side Lazio, according to Calcio News 24.
The Baggies are in the market for new recruits for Tony Pulis’ squad and are expected to be busy in the final days and hours of the transfer market.
The Spanish-born Senegal international is a supremely gifted individual but comes with a considerable amount of personality issues.

A product of the Lazio youth academy, Balde has had a number of high-profile disputes with the capital city club since breaking into their first team in 2013.
A versatile attacker, the 21-year-old can play as a winger, second striker or the furthest man forward and is an impressive performer on the ball.
Despite reports in Italy suggesting that Balde has fallen out with Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi and is set to leave the Stadio Olimpico team, the Serie A side are believed to have rejected an approach from the Baggies.
West Brom have signed Nacer Chadli from Tottenham this week and if they increase their offer for the Lazio star there could be further recruits at the Hawthorns before the window closes at the end of Wednesday.
