Watford will be looking to ensure they progress to the next round of the FA Cup when they travel to The Laithwaite Community Stadium to face Woking on Sunday.
The Hornets will be wary of suffering a shock defeat to the Non-League outfit and will want to use the game as a platform for a successful tournament.
Javi Gracia will have warned his players about complacency and will look to use the match as the perfect opportunity to give some of his fringe men a chance to play.
And, according to the club’s official website, he could hand several players the chance to get minutes under their belts.
The likes of Nathaniel Chalobah, Daryl Janmaat, Marc Navarro, Miguel Britos, Ben Wilmot, Domingos Quina, Tom Cleverley, Heurelho Gomes and Pontus Dahlberg have all struggled for a regular spot in the side.
Adalberto Penaranda is another who could finally get his Watford career started after having seen his introduction delayed.
The Venezuela international, who has been at Vicarage Road since 2016, has struggled to obtain a work permit over the years, whilst he was also out with a foot injury recently.
“He’s available and is improving,” Gracia told the club’s official website.
“He is in a fit condition and I think he will be available. He is improving day by day and in this moment he is an option.”
Watford have been performing well in the Premier League this season and currently sit 8th in the table.
The Hornets will head to Selhurst Park to meet Crystal Palace at the weekend and will want to take momentum forward with them with a victory against Woking on Sunday.
