Tottenham Hotspur ended their 2018/19 Premier League campaign with a 2-2 draw against Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The draw secured their place in next season’s Champions League tournament as they finished in fourth.

Spurs started the game on the front foot following their impressive comeback victory against Ajax in midweek when Eric Dier netted shortly after kickoff.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side found themselves behind in the space of five minutes in the second half when Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun both found the net.

However, Christian Eriksen levelled the tie once again with a free-kick to give Tottenham a share of the spoils.

As is the norm, plenty of fans flocked to Twitter following the final whistle to share their reactions to the result.

However, many of them were not happy with the performance of one of their stars on the pitch.

Erik Lamela has not enjoyed the best season of his Tottenham career so far, having had to spend the majority of it on the sidelines.

The Argentine international may have started the game brightly as he assisted Dier for the opening goal, however, he failed to make more of a significant impact as the game went on.

There will be questions about his future at Spurs this summer, although it appears a lot of fans would not be too disappointed if he were moved on.

Many of those supporters took to Twitter to criticise the attacker, with some calling for him to be sold whilst others were frustrated with his performance against Everton.

Here are some of the Tottenham fans reactions:
