Crystal Palace have confirmed on their official website that they will wait to close to their kick-off against Hull City on Sunday before releasing their team sheet.

The report states that Joel Ward and Andros Townsend could play and have been wrapped in cotton wool at training this week, with the defender breaking his nose against Manchester City and the winger having a sore Achilles.

Palace have issues at centre-half, with Mamadou Sakho not available to play against Hull getting injured against Tottenham Hotspur recently.

However, centre-halves James Tomkins and Scott Dann have an outside chances of playing against the Tigers, in what would be a massive boost for Sam Allardyce’s men.

Yohan Cabaye also has a chance of featuring on sunday, but Pape Souare and Connor Wickham remain on the sidelines.

Palace go into the game knowing that a raw would be enough to secure their Premier League future, while a defeat to Hull could see their fate not decided until the last day of the campaign.

The Eagles have been in better form of late but were put to the sword against City last weekend, losing 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
