Spurs reportedly tried to land Zaha in the summer but the Eagles were keen to hold onto the skilful attacker rather than sell him to their Premier League rivals.
The report suggests that Tottenham will try to steal the flying winger from Palace again in January but that Sam Allardyce’s men will hold firm on their £25 million valuation of the star.
Mauricio Pochettino was vocal in the summer over his desire to sign attacking players that could offer width on the flanks, with Zaha seemingly fitting the bill.
The Tottenham trainer has been asked about the potential for Spurs to sign the Palace star in January but has remained apathetic despite rating the former United wideman.
“I like good players and maybe he is a good player,” Pochettino is quoted as saying.
“But I don’t like to start focusing on some names. Then you start a rumour.”
