Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has an interest in signing Leicester City winger Demarai Gray this summer, according to the London Evening Standard.
Spurs were quiet during the mid-season transfer window, with Tom Carroll’s sale to Swansea City the only business of note for the Premier League side.
However, Pochettino is expected to reinforce at the end of the current campaign and has made no secret of his desire to have pace and penetration in the final third.
Moussa Sissoko and Kevin-Georges N’Koudou have been signed with these attributes in mind, but neither have convinced the White Hart Lane faithful of their merits as yet.
With talk that Spurs could look to Crystal Palace wideman Wilfried Zaha, Gray could well be an alternative.
The sprightly winger has started five Premier League games this season for Leicester and although not a regular under Claudio Ranieri, he looks dangerous when given an opportunity.
Gray moved from Birmingham City to the King Power Stadium last January, with Spurs seemingly keeping tabs on the versatile attacker.
