Tottenham Hotspur are due to play against Norwich City in a Premier League clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday.
The Lilywhites will be going all-out for victory against the relegation-bound Canaries as they look to revive their top four ambitions.
Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham side have been in poor form recently and have managed to win just one out of their previous six league games.
The game against Daniel Farke’s struggling side presents Spurs with a good opportunity to return to winning ways.
Tottenham can however not afford to take the Canaries lightly. They played against them at Carrow Road late last month and the game ended in a 2-2 draw.
Hugo Lloris, Ben Davies, Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Kane and Moussa Sissoko are expected to be sidelined for the game according to The Evening Standard.
The report added that Tottenham 20-year-old Japhet Tanganga is expected to continue as an “inverted left-back”.
Furthermore, Giovani Lo Celso could be set to drop to the bench after having featured heavily during recent weeks.
This could mean that Mourinho could opt to start Christian Eriksen in what could be a farewell appearance for the Danish international as he nears a move to Inter Milan.
It remains to be seen whether Dele Alli is also rested by the self-proclaimed “special one”.
Spurs are not in good form at the moment.
Tottenham will need their attacking players, especially Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min, to come to the party against the Canaries if they hope to claim three points.
