Tottenham Hotspur will host PSV Eindhoven at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night, however, they will be without a number of stars for the game, according to the club’s official website.
Spurs’ hopes of qualifying from their Champions League group look very slim, having suffered defeats to Barcelona and Inter Milan, but Mauricio Pochettino will want to see his team take the game against the Eredivisie outfit.
The two sides drew in the last meeting, in a game which the Premier League outfit almost managed to take the three points from, something they are going to have to do if they have any chance of reaching the next round.
However, it will be a tall order for Tottenham as they will be without six players for the clash with PSV.
Mousa Dembele became the latest name to be added to the injury list at Spurs when he was forced off the pitch against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend.
The Belgium international suffered an injury to his ankle and still needs to be assessed and joins fellow midfielders Victor Wanyama and Eric Dier on the sidelines.
Hugo Lloris was sent off in the previous meeting so he sits out through suspension, whilst the game has come too quickly for both Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen who are recovering well in their efforts to return.
