Tottenham Hotspur are to be without key defender Danny Rose for next weekend’s Premier League clash with Chelsea, after the left-back picked up his fifth booking of the season against West Ham United on Saturday.
As reported in the London Evening Standard, the England international will now sit out the North London outfit’s trip to Stamford Bridge.

The suspension will leave Mauricio Pochettino short at left-back, with Ben Davies already on the treatment table.
As such, it will be interesting to see just who the Argentine selects to fit in on that flank or if he will consider a change in formation.
Rose must be adjudged as one of the players to improve most under the former Southampton manager, with Pochettino’s appointment at White Hart Lane playing a pivotal role in the defender’s ascent.
The former Leeds United youth star is now first choice for club and country, which seemed unlikely a couple of seasons ago when the full-back was guilty of inconsistent showings.
