Corinthians’ Brazilian left-back Guilherme Arana has met with Tottenham officials over a possible move to White Hart Lane, reports from Italian news website TuttoMercatoWeb claim.
The 19-year-old has been attracting interest from across Europe in recent weeks, with German side Schalke said to be keen on the youngster.

But it seems that North London is now his most likely destination after a meeting with Spurs representatives.
Arana, who is capped at under-20 level, is known in his native country for his explosive pace and dribbling ability, traits that are highly sought-after in the modern full-back.
Tottenham’s style of play is reliant on their full-backs providing width and attacking support, whilst defensive duties are mainly covered by the two centre-halves and a holding midfielder.
In this sense Arana would be a perfect fit, initially as cover for Danny Rose and as a future first team player further down the line.
However, Spurs already have three players capable of playing in that position, with Ben Davies and Jan Vertonghen also highly accomplished in the role; therefore any further reinforcements may necessitate someone being allowed to leave.
