Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a sensational move to sign Real Madrid midfielder Isco, according to The Mirror.

The North London club have added Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen to their squad this summer but Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that he would like more new faces before the transfer window closes in midweek.

Isco is a sublimely talented attacking midfielder but the Spain international has been a victim of the wealth of riches available to Zinedine Zidane.

Currently the former Malaga playmaker is behind the likes of Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez at the capital city club and he is being linked with a Santiago Bernabeu exit.

To land a player of Isco’s quality would be a massive statement of intent by Spurs but the North London side would surely have competition for the Spaniard’s signing.

Tottenham are supposed to have a working relationship with Madrid after selling Gareth Bale and Modric to the Spaniards – this would be the ideal opportunity for the English team to take advantage of it.
