Tottenham Hotspur have joined Liverpool and Southampton in the race for Bristol City defender Lloyd Kelly, according to Football Insider.
Football Insider claimed last week that Liverpool and Southampton are interested in signing Kelly from City in the summer transfer window.
It was reported that Jurgen Klopp’s side have been closing monitoring the 20-year-old defender this season.
Football Insider has now claimed that Tottenham are looking at the England Under-21 international defender as well.
It has been reported that Spurs have identified the 20-year-old defender as a long-term replacement for Belgium international centre-back Jan Vertonghen, who has been on the books of the North London outfit since 2012 and is now 32 years of age.
Kelly played mainly at left-back for City this season, but he can operate as a centre-back where Tottenham reportedly plan to use him.
According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old made 26 starts and six substitute appearances in the Championship for City this season, scoring one goal in the process.
