Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele has tweeted on the six-year anniversary of being at the club, in a move that will delight the club’s supporters.
The Belgian central midfielder is a critical player for Spurs, with his blend of creativity, brawn and passing range a key element to the side’s play.
However, with Dembele’s contract at Tottenham running down and having less than 12 months to run, speculation has been rife that he could leave Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
Given that the Belgian has taken to social media to express his gratitude to the club and the fans, it looks as though any chance of the former Fulham man departing before Friday’s transfer window closes is over.

For Tottenham, continuity is key this season and keeping the club’s star players fir and firing will be key to the team’s chances of silverware.
Dembele certainly is included in that bracket, with Spurs a much more dangerous proposition with the midfielder in the starting XI.
This was proven on Monday night as the cultured Belgian played a role in Tottenham beating Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford.
