Tottenham Hotspur put in a masterful performance on Thursday night to beat outgoing Premier League champions Leicester City 6-1 at the King Power Stadium.
Mauricio Pochettino has stressed the importance of Spurs finishing the season well, despite Chelsea claiming the title.
Harry Kane netted four goals and Son Heung-min hit the other two as Tottenham proved themselves as simply too good for Craig Shakespeare’s side.
Pochettino fielded a strong side against Leicester but Moussa Sissoko got a rare start for the North London club at right wing-back.
The France international was signed last summer for a whopping £30 million but has failed to establish himself in the Spurs side in 2016-17.
Sissoko’s inclusion was debated and ridiculed in equal measures by the Tottenham fans on Twitter, with the former Newcastle United man again the source of criticism from the travelling support.
With rumours linking the French midfielder with an exit from the club this summer, the Spurs fans are clearly keen for him to be sold – the best tweets are below.
Absolutely magic. Kane different class. Whole team unreal (- Sissoko). One more please lads. #THFC
