Tottenham Hotspur’s FA Cup campaign came to an end on Saturday as a clinical Chelsea took their chances to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s men 4-2 at Wembley.

Spurs gave as good as they got for the majority of the match, with the North London side clearly a team that will be in contention for silverware in forthcoming years.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli scored excellent goals for Tottenham, while Christian Eriksen’s assists continue to be a real plus point for the White Hart Lane side.

However, the Spurs fans were quick to hail an under-rated member of Pochettino’s starting XI, with many feeling Mousa Dembele deserved the man of the match award despite his side being beaten.

The Belgium international continues to be a mercurial talent and is constantly at the heartbeat of the Tottenham’s side’s possession play.

Dembele tried to drag Spurs back into the match and was particularly impressive in the second half, which did not go unnoticed by the Tottenham supporters.

  1. I find it amazing that Dembele isn’t considered world class, goes to show how a players position is important in how much people notice their contribution!

  2. Dembele truly one of my favourite players at Spurs! Moves through midfield like an uncompromising killer tank on a battlefield. Opponents in for tackle shrugged aside and bounce off him like a second thought. Long may he adorn the Spurs midfield!! COMD !!!COYS!!!
