Tottenham Hotspur are considering a summer move for Real Betis forward Antonio Sanabria, according to The Express.
Spurs are likely to bolster their attacking options at the end of the current campaign, with lingering doubts over whether Vincent Janssen is the man to deputise for Harry Kane in Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The report suggests that the Premier League side tried to sign the Paraguayan attacker last summer but the 21-year-old instead opted to move to La Liga.
Sanabria has been in good form of late, scoring three goals in his last five outings, including a strike for Betis against Real Madrid.
The rumours are starting to circulate that Pochettino has not given up hope of attracting the South American to White Hart Lane, with potential scope for another attempt to sign him this summer.
Spurs are set to be without Harry Kane for the Premier League clash against Southampton on Sunday, with either Janssen or Son Heung-min set to lead the line for the second-placed outfit in his absence.
