Tottenham Hotspur are waiting to find out the extent of Harry Kane’s ankle injury, with The Guardian stating that the hotshot forward could well be out of action for two months.
The youth graduate is the attacking talisman for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and finished last season as the Premier League’s top goalscorer with 25 strikes.

Kane netted the only goal of the game against Sunderland on Sunday, but was later stretchered off after twisting his ankle in a challenge.
The England international is believed to have strained ligaments in his ankle and as such could be set for a lengthy period away from the game.
The report suggests that Spurs will conduct more scans on Kane’s injured ankle on Tuesday, with news on the extent of the damage expected in the near future.
Tottenham signed Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar in the summer to provide competition for places in the final third, with the Netherlands international seemingly set to be thrown into the breach.
