Reportedly Italian giants AC Milan sent a representative to watch him play in Montpellier’s game against Paris-Saint-Germain, with Sevilla and fellow Ligue 1 club side Marseille in the mix.
The Algerian moved from SC Bastia to Montpellier for £1.45 million in 2015 and quickly established himself in the first team.
As a youngster, he played for both the French under-17 and 19 teams, however when it came to a senior international call up he chose to represent Algeria and made his debut coming off the bench in a friendly against the Republic of Ireland in May 2010
The following summer he was included in the Algerian squad for the World Cup in South Africa.
Having spent the whole of his football career in France, Boudebouz could take the chance to move on to a different league and a new challenge if the opportunity was to arise soon.
