With new owners, a positive start to the new season and a feeling that the future is bright, West Bromwich Albion are expected to be busy in the forthcoming January transfer window.
If 18 months ago you had told a Baggies fan that their club had the chance to sign Morgan Scheniderlin, even the most optimistic would have been dubious.

Fast forward to the current day and the former Southampton midfielder is surplus to requirements at Manchester United and seemingly set for a January move to a Premier League rival.
While Everton have been the team most-commonly linked with Schneiderlin, West Brom have also been mentioned as a suitor.
There is little doubt that the Hawthorns outfit would have to break their club-record transfer fee to land the France international and that this decision should not be made lightly.
However, a player of Schneiderlin’s stature, ability and profile has the potential to take Tony Pulis’ men to the next level and add a real star to the heart of the Baggies team.
The Frenchman’s reputation may well have waned over 18 ill-fated months at Old Trafford, but this is still the player that was one of the Premier League’s most in-demand stars in his Southampton days.
West Brom would have stiff competition to land Schneiderlin from Premier League rivals but landing the gifted midfielder could well be the start of a special era for the Baggies.
