Swansea City are preparing a January offer for Tottenham Hotspur central midfielder Tom Carroll, who is valued at around £10 million according to The Sun.
The English playmaker is a product of the fabled Spurs youth system but has found regular first-team football hard to come by under Mauricio Pochettino.
Carroll has the likes of Victor Wanyama, Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier ahead of him in the White Hart Lane pecking order and as such he could well be assessing his future prospects.
The neat midfielder has spent time on loan at the Liberty Stadium perviously and proved during his time in South Wales that he has the pedigree to play regular Premier League football.
The likes of Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason have had to seek football elsewhere due to the quality in Pochettino’s ranks and it appears that Carroll could well be the next central midfielder heading towards the White Hart Lane exit door.
