Spanish outfit Villarreal have opened negotiations with Swansea City over striker Borja Baston, Sky Sports are reporting.
The two clubs are expected to come to an agreement which would see the 24-year-old join The Yellow Submarine on loan for the remainder of the season.

The forward arrived at Swansea from Atletico Madrid last summer for a club-record fee of £15.5 million on a four-year contract, but it seems he will now depart only six months into that deal.
Borja initially signed for Atletico’s youth academy in 1996 but made just one appearance for the club, as a substitute in a 3-0 loss to Getafe in May 2010.
He spent the majority of his early career out on loan to a number of clubs, but it was an 18-goal La Liga haul for Eibar in the 2015-16 campaign that convinced the Swans to bring him to the Premier League.
However, he has failed to hold down a regular starting berth since the big-money move, with nine of his 15 outings this term coming from the bench.
The Spaniard scored his only goal for the Welsh outfit in a 3-2 away loss to Arsenal in October.
