Swansea City were held to a 2-2 draw against Leeds United on Tuesday night but fans were delighted with the performance of one of their midfield stars on social media.

The Swans would have felt they had done enough to win the game, however, a late goal from Pablo Hernandez meant that the two sides would share the spoils at the Liberty Stadium.

The home side started the match off well when Oli McBurnie put them ahead early on in the first half.

However, they found themselves all square just before the half-time whistle when Kemar Roofe managed to level things up.

Graham Potter’s side started the second half quickly and were rewarded once again when their Scotland international striker netted for the second time and they would have felt they had done enough to take all three points.

However, Hernandez struck with ten minutes left of the game to ensure that the Swans could only keep a point from the game in Wales.

Despite the result, with many feeling the club should have won the game, fans took to social media to praise the performance of one of their players.

Leroy Fer appeared to stand out to many of the Liberty Stadium faithful, with a number of them commenting on how the 28-year-old had looked impressive in the middle of the field.

Fans stated that they had felt he was the difference and believed he had been different class for the side.

Here are some of their reactions:
