Swansea City make the trip to Stoke on Tuesday night, looking to extend their impressive form on the road so far this season.
From a possible nine points away from home, the Swans have picked up seven points but according to BBC Sport they face a midfield injury crisis.
Bersant Celina has been ruled out with an ankle injury, having featured in all seven of Swansea’s fixtures this campaign.
Jay Fulton has scored once in six appearances so far this season, but won’t feature after picking up a cut on his head.
Tom Carroll is still ruled out with a hip problem, while Leroy Fer hasn’t featured since a 2-1 win over Millwall two weeks ago due to an Achilles injury.
In their last 14 visits to the Bet365 Stadium, Swansea have won on just one occasion, coming back in 2001.
The two clubs haven’t faced each other in the second tier since 1963, as both were relegated from the Premier League last season.
Swansea have started the better of the two clubs in their pursuit of returning to the top flight, and a victory on Tuesday will be their first back-to-back away triumphs since 2017.
The Swans are sat just three points behind league leaders Leeds United, and will be hoping to get back to winning ways after Saturday’s 0-0 draw at home to Nottingham Forest.
