Sunderland are being linked with a move for former Liverpool right-back Javier Manquillo, with The Daily Mail stating that a loan approach for the Spanish defender is imminent.
The Black Cats have appointed David Moyes following Sam Allardyce getting the England job and the Scot has been busy trying to bolster his squad before the transfer window closes.
Manquillo is a product of the Atletico Madrid youth academy and spent time on loan at Liverpool in 2014-15, but only featured in a handful of games for the Reds.

A more fruitful loan stint at Marseille last season has stoked Sunderland’s interest in the Spaniard, who is unlikely to feature for Diego Simeone’s men this season.
The Wearside club have seen DeAndre Yedlin’s loan tenure in the North East finish and as such Moyes wants another option at right-back – with an approach for Manquillo before the end of August on the cards.
The Madrid-born defender has been a regular at Spanish age-grade level throughout the years and has represented La Roja at under-21 level seven times.
This sounds like a typical SUNDERLAND signing ,,, cheap ,,,, club need to get rid ,,,,
