Stoke City will once again be without Sam Clucas and James McClean when Swansea City visit the bet365 Stadium on Tuesday night, reports BBC Sport.
But the Potters have no new fresh injury or suspension worries as they look for a third successive home win in all competitions.
Clucas, who left the Swans to join Stoke in a £6million deal in August, has yet to make an appearance for Gary Rowett’s side due to a knee problem suffered in pre-season.
McClean broke his wrist in training while away on international duty with the Republic of Ireland earlier this month that is likely to keep him out of action for up to six weeks.
Stoke have failed to win their last two matches as they were beaten by West Bromwich Albion before the international break and threw away a two-goal lead in their last match against Sheffield Wednesday.
Benik Afobe hit a brace inside the opening 30 minutes but the Owls came back through Marco Matias before Barry Bannan scored a late equaliser to deny Rowett’s side all three points.
The draw leaves Stoke in 20th-place in the Championship as they have had a slow start to the Championship following relegation from the Premier League with just one win from their first seven matches.
Swansea, who were also relegated from the top-flight last season, have had a better start to the second-tier than the hosts with 12 points from seven games that sees Graham Potter’s side in the last of the play-off places.
The Swans have been impressive away from the Liberty Stadium by picking seven points from a possible nine on their travels although they currently suffering an injury crisis in the midfield department with Bersant Celina, Jay Fulton, Tom Carroll and Leroy Fer all unavailable for the trip to Stoke.
