West Ham United are believed to have won the race to sign Robert Snodgrass from Hull City, with Sky Sports claiming that the Scotsman wants to move to the London Stadium and will undertake a medical on Friday.
The gifted attacker has shone for the newly promoted Premier League side this season and has been arguably the Tigers’ best players in the campaign.
However, with the Scotland international’s contract winding down, a host of other top-flight teams have made an approach for the versatile attacking midfielder.
The latest report claims that Snodgrass has stipulated that he prefers a move to West Ham over fellow suitors Burnley and Middlesbrough, with the Hammers having a £10 million offer accepted.
With the formalities of a medical to be completed on Friday, it looks like the creative star may well follow Jose Fonte and become an addition to Slaven Bilic’s squad in the mid-season window.
Snodgrass could well be a replacement for Dimitri Payet, who is looking increasingly likely to leave the Premier League side this month.
