Manchester City are believed to have pulled out of a deal to sign Croatian prodigy Ante Coric according to The Mirror, with Liverpool and Tottenham now said to be battling for the starlet.
The young attacking midfielder has made quite the impression with Dinamo Zagreb and it looks like only a matter of time before he ends up at a major European side.
City were believed to be closing in on concluding a deal for Coric, but the latest reports suggest that the Etihad Stadium outfit have walked away from a deal.

This has created an opportunity for Liverpool and Tottenham, who shared the spoils in an entertaining 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane yesterday.
The Daily Star have taken the story one step further by suggesting that Jurgen Klopp’s men are in the driving seat to land Coric and that the Croatia international will undertake a medical at Anfield in the near future.
The teenager is being tipped to follow in the footsteps of Luka Modric, with both of the midfield stars emerging at Dinamo Zagreb.
