The report added that Ryan Bertrand will miss the game due to suspension.
Southampton have a good record against Everton at home in the Premier League as they have defeated the Merseysiders 11 times in such games.
The Toffees have also lost four out of their previous six Premier League visits to St Mary’s. They won one 3-0, which came in August 2015.
Southampton need to end their poor run of form sooner rather than later.
They have won just two out of their previous 16 Premier League fixtures.
The hosts will also be up against a Toffees side which will also be fancying their chances of victory.
