Southampton face off against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Saturday afternoon.
After drawing their last game 1-1 against Manchester United, the Saints will be looking for a victory and they will fancy their chances of collecting three points against the newly promoted Premier League team.
If Southampton do manage to win the game, it will mark the first time since March 2017 that they would have won successive away Premier League games.
The south coast club also need to aim to get three points against sides such as Sheffield United if they want to avoid once again being involved in the relegation dogfight this season.
Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side will have to make do without the services of midfielder Nathan Redmond due to an ankle injury, according to a report published by BBC Sport.
The Saints will have to also make do without the services of left-back Kevin Danso who is suspended for the game after having received a red-card during the draw against United.
Hasenhuttl will however have the likes of Ryan Bertrand and Michael Obafemi available again.
Moussa Djenepo is also another player who could potentially play a part during the game. This will be the first League encounter between the sides in more than 25-years. The last time that they faced of was at Bramall Lane back in March 1994 and the game ended in a goalless draw.
The Blades may not be easy for Southampton to break down. While they are not the flashiest side in the League, they play with plenty of spirit and head into the clash after having lost just once during their past 11 league games.
