Southampton are leading the way to sign Birmingham City right-back Josh Dacres-Cogley, according to the Sun.
The 20-year-old was handed his chance earlier this season after injury problems to the Blues defence and has become a regular since.

Dacres-Cogley’s ability and potential has attracted the eye of several Premier League clubs and Saints boss Claude Puel is winning the race to bring the player to St Mary’s.
The academy product has particularly been praised for his composure on the ball and his passing ability, whilst also having the willingness to attack.
With captain Jose Fonte leaving the club to join West Ham United, defensive cover is high on Puel’s wish list and Southampton fans will be hoping they buy before the transfer window shuts after shipping in five goals at home against Arsenal in the FA cup fourth round at the weekend.
Southampton are also expected to conclude a deal for a centre forward before the January transfer window closes on Tuesday night, with talk of Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini heading to the English club.
