Paraguay international Miguel Almiron has responded to speculation in the press that Arsenal want to sign him by admitting it would be great to play for the North London club.
The Gunners have suffered some setbacks in the transfer market this summer but on the whole the Emirates Stadium faithful will be relatively happy with their side’s business once Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi’s acquisitions are confirmed.
Almiron is a 22-year-old attacking midfielder that impressed in Paraguay with Cerro Porteno last year and subsequently earned a move to Argentine club Lanus.

With the creative midfielder also getting a chance to represent his country, it appears to be only a matter of time before he is playing his club football in Europe.
Almiron has responded to the reports linking him with a switch to the Emirates Stadium by admitting that he would like to end up in the Premier League.
“It would be great to play for Arsenal but I haven’t said anything yet – my agent is taking care [of me],” he told Goal Argentina.
“For now I just think of Lanus.”
Arsenal are believed to have missed out on Riyad Mahrez earlier this summer and as such there could well be scope for the Gunners to add to their options in wide attacking areas.
That said, if Arsene Wenger’s men are to add another player to their squad before the transfer window closes on Wednesday night it would come as a surprise.
