The latest report suggests that Barcelona want to add Gomes to their ranks, following exceptional performances at age-grade level for United and England.
The attacking midfielder is regarded as one of the most-promising youth players coming through the ranks at Old Trafford and features for the Red Devils’ under-18 side.
Despite only being 16, Gomes captains the England under-17 side and has stood out on the international scene also.
