Sheffield Wednesday face off in a Championship clash against automatic promotion-chasers Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday.
The Owls head into the game in 10th position on the second-tier standings with 59 points after 40 games. They are six points adrift of sixth-place Bristol City, who currently occupy the final promotion playoff spot.
One would have to back Leeds to take the three points from this game as they will be fired up as they look to secure automatic promotion to the English top-flight next season.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites side will however have to be on their toes on Saturday as they will be playing against a Sheffield Wednesday side whom they have not beaten during their previous three League games.
The last time that the two sides faced each other was in September last year and the result was 1-1.
Leeds will be hoping that Patrick Bamford can continue his good form since the turn of the year with a goal against Wednesday. The 25-year-old has so far managed seven Championship goals since the start of 2019.
Sheffield Wednesday manager Steve Bruce is hoping that he will have midfielder Barry Bannan available for the clash, according to a report published by BBC Sport.
The 29-year-old had to miss his sides recent win against Nottingham Forest.
The report added that other players who could be in contention to play for the Owls include loanees Dominic Iorfa, Rolando Aarons and midfielder Sam Hutchinson.
Wednesday striker Gary Hooper has an impressive record against Leeds after having scored several League goals against the Whites during his previous eight games against them.
