Top four hopefuls Sheffield United will resume their Premier League campaign with a trip to Aston Villa on Wednesday night.
Chris Wilder’s side will have a good chance of defeating he relegation threatened Villains.
The Blades head into the fixture in seventh place on the league standings with 43 points from 28 games and are five points adrift of fourth place Chelsea.
Wilder’s side have already exceeded expectations this season. They are already virtually certain of avoiding relegation, most people and pundits would have expected them to be involved in the relegation dog-fight this season.
It will be a remarkable story if they manage to attain a place in next season’s Champions League or Europa League.
The Blades will head into their contest against the Villains with a fully-fit side, according to the London Evening Standard.
They are hoping to secure a loan extension of goalkeeper Dean Henderson. Henderson is due to soon return to parent club Manchester United and has been in good form between the sticks for Sheffield this season.
Regardless of what happens to Henderson in the future, he will be available to start against Villa.
Sheffield will also be aiming to secure the signature of Henderson for a further season, especially if they are playing European football next season.
The young keeper has also been linked with a potential return to parent club Manchester United as a first-choice keeper for the Red Devils.
David De Gea has been inconsistent this season and some United fans feel that it is the right time to part ways with the Spaniard.
