Chelsea’s reported interest in Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj has been rubbished by the star’s agent, who has claimed there has been no contact from the Premier League side.
The mainstream media were reporting this week that the Blues had one eye on the Croatia international, who continues to excel at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and for his country.

However, Dejan Joksimovic has told Sport Witness that Antonio Conte’s men have not made contact with him and that Badelj is staying with the Viola.
The fact that the Premier League outfit’s new manager is Italian has led to a host of players from Serie A being linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
However, with N’Golo Kante impressing for the Blues since his summer switch from Leicester City and Nemanja Matic also in the team to provide brawn, talk of Badelj being signed by Conte does not immediately make sense.
The 2014-15 Premier League champions are expected to splash the cash both in January and next summer as Chelsea look to get back in the hunt for major silverware.
