According to Football Insider, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Rafael Camacho from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Wolves are in pole position to secure the services of the 19-year-old winger this summer.
The Portuguese teenager has reportedly turned down Liverpool’s offer of a new contract, with his current deal set to run out in the summer of 2020.
According to Football Insider, Wolves are leading the race for Camacho, with RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Sporting Lisbon also interested in the winger.
Camacho has been at Liverpool since 2016, but the winger has yet to establish himself in the first team at Anfield.
It is not going to be easy for the teenager to break into the Wolves senior team either, as Nuno’s side have a strong attacking unit and the 19-year-old is relatively inexperienced.
Wolves enjoyed a strong season in the Premier League in 2018-19, and the Wanderers could be pushing to break into the top six next season.
