Manchester United are interested in signing Issa Diop from West Ham United in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
It has been reported that United are willing to pay as much as £45 million as transfer fee for Diop and are also ready to include a player in the deal.
West Ham, though, do not want to sell the central defender and will not even listen to any offers less than £60 million, according to the report.
Diop joined the Hammers from Toulouse in the summer 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £22 million.
According to WhoScored, the 22-year-old central defender made 33 appearances in the Premier League for West Ham this season, scoring one goal in the process.
Diop is one of the best young central defenders in the Premier League, and the Frenchman would be a very good signing for United in the summer transfer window.
United will be aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League next season.
