According to Calciomercato.com, West Ham United are interested in signing Thomas Strakosha from Lazio in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that Arsenal are also interested in securing the services of the 24-year-old goalkeeper.
The report has also claimed that Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito want as much as €50 million (£44.73m) as transfer fee for the Albania international goalkeeper.
No need for Thomas Strakosha
Strakosha is a very good goalkeeper, and given that he is only 24 years of age, the Albania international can only get better in the coming years.
However, there is no need for West Ham to sign the Lazio star, as they already have a star goalkeeper in Lukasz Fabianski.
The 34-year-old joined West Ham from Swansea City in the summer of 2018 and was superb for the Hammers this past season.
Fabianski was arguably the best player for West Ham in the Premier League during the 2018-19 campaign, and the Poland international remains at the top of his game.
