According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing James Maddison from Premier League rivals Leicester City in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has been impressed with Maddison and will spend some of the Champions League money on the former Norwich City attacking midfielder.
The report has claimed that Leicester know that they face a fight to keep hold on to the 22-year-old they signed from Norwich in the summer of 2018 for £22.5 million.
Maddison was superb for Leicester during the 2018-19 campaign and was one of the young players in the Premier League.
According to WhoScored, the former Coventry City youngster made 35 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for Leicester, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists in the process.
Maddison is a very talented midfielder and has huge potential, and the attacker will be a smart long-term signing for Tottenham, who will face Premier League rivals Liverpool in the Champions League final in Madrid this weekend.
