According to The Sun, Tottenham Hotspur are facing competition from Bayern Munich for Giovani Lo Celso.
It has been reported that Betis want £60 million as transfer fee for Lo Celso, with Tottenham unwilling to cough up that much cash.
The report has also claimed that German and European giants Bayern have entered the race for the 23-year-old Argentina international midfielder.
Lo Celso was on loan at Betis from French giants Paris Saint-Germain and made quite an impression at the Spanish club.
According to WhoScored, the 23-year-old made 27 starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga for Betis last season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in the process.
According to The Sun, Betis signed the midfielder from PSG for £20m earlier this summer, and they are now looking for £60m.
It does sound like a lot of money for a player who has had just one great season in Europe, but Lo Celso would be a good long-term signing for Tottenham or Bayern.
